The JEE Advanced 2023 exam for IIT admissions took place on June 4 in two parts, the first paper from 9 am to 12 pm and the second paper from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Close to 2 lakh aspirants registered for the examination. Additionally, over 1.5 lakh candidates appeared in the examination.
As per the official details, From IIT Bombay, 7,957 students passed the exam. From IIT Delhi, 9,290 students qualified. In the IIT Guwahati zone, 2,395 students made it through. From the IIT Hyderabad zone, 10,432 students qualified. In the IIT Kanpur zone, 4,582 students passed. From IIT Kharagpur, 4,618 students qualified. And finally, from the IIT Roorkee zone, 4,499 students made it through.
Vavilala Chidvilas Reddy, who took the exam from the IIT Hyderabad Zone got the first rank in the country with 341 out of 360 marks. Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree also from the same zone is the top-ranked female student. She achieved an overall All India Rank of 56 scoring 298 marks.
