What is PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 (PMGC 2023)
PUBG Mobile 2023 competitive season is about to end with PMGC 2023 as the tournament will be the last global event of the year. All the best teams from each region will be part of this championship as the teams have earned the spots by winning regional tournaments or making it to qualifying spots in their respective regions. The global event is going to be held in Turkey this year.
PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 Format & Groups
Group Stage
48 teams will take part in the group stage and are divided into three groups. The groups are named Group Green, Group Red, and Group Yellow. The group stage will begin on November 2 and end on 19 November 2023.
Every group will play 24 matches in four scheduled matchdays and on each match day there will be six matches. The top three teams from each group move on to the Grand Finals and the teams placed 4th – 11th in the points table of each group advance to Survival Stage. All the remaining teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
Survival Stage
The survival stage will happen after the group stage is concluded starting on November 22 and will end on 24 November 2023. 24 teams will be part of this stage divided into 3 groups of 8 teams. Every group competes in 6 matches daily, adding up to 18 matches over 3 days in a Round-Robin structure. The top 16 out of 24 teams will qualify for the Last Chance stage and the rest will be eliminated.
Last Chance Stage
16 teams will be part of this stage and 12 matches will be played in two matchdays. The top 5 will advance to the grand finals and the rest are going to be eliminated.
Grand Finals
This stage will also have 16 teams fighting for the biggest prize. 14 teams who have qualified by playing previous stages will be involved along with 2 directly invited teams. A total of 18 matches will be played in three match days starting on 8 December and ending on 10 December. The team who scores the highest points in these three days will be declared the winner.
