The ever growing PUBG Mobile esports community are getting another fantastic global event called the PMWC. As announced by Krafton during the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2023, PMWC 2024 will be the mid-season global event replacing the PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI).
Krafton has revealed the slots for each participating region in the upcoming international event to be organized in Riyadh. The mega tournament will feature 28 best teams from around the world and it will have three stages. PMWC 2024 prize pool will be a whopping $3million as revealed by the organizer.

About PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024
This year PUBG esports community and fans will witness three international events PMGO, PMWC, and PMGC. PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) will be the first international event of the year which is going to held in Brazil. After that, the mid-season event will PMWC the newest tournament after inclusion of PUBG mobile in the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2024.
The international competition will feature a selection of 28 teams from various regions worldwide. It serves as the successor to the World Invitational also known as PMWI which saw two seasons held in Riyadh in 2022 and 2023. PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 Format
PMWC 2024 is no doubt going to be one of the biggest PUBG Mobile tournaments of the year with a massive prize pool. As per the official format, it consists of three stages Group Stage, Survival Stage, and Main Stage (Grand Finals). 28 teams will be part of the event out of which four will be directly invited to the survival stage.
Group Stage
24 teams will battle it out in the group stage of the event. Top 12 ranked teams at conclusion of the particular stage will directly qualify to the main stage. Other 12 teams will head to Survival Stage where four teams will get direct invitations making it 16 teams.
Survival Stage
The teams outside top 12 in the group stage will feature in this phase of the tournament joined by 4 directly invited teams. A selected team representing PMSL Americas, SEA, EMEA, and CSA will earn direct selection to the Survival Stage. Top 4 of this round will qualify for the main stage.
Main Stage (Grand Final)
The Main Stage will have 16 teams batting to be crowned the world champions of 2024. Top 12 teams from group stage and top 4 teams from survival stage will get the chance to be part of the Main Stage of PMWC 2024. The winner of this round will be declared PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 winner.
PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024 Prize Pool
According of official announcement, the PMWC 2024 prize pool will be USD 3,000,000. The organizer hasn’t disclosed how the prize pool will be distrusted yet.
