The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the JEE Main Result 2024 Session 1 soon on its website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Once released, the candidates can head over to the website and use the result link provided by NTA to download their hall tickets. To access the link, the candidates will need to provide login details.
NTA released the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 1 provision answer key at the start of the month. Candidates were given a chance to raise objections and today (9 February 2024) the window raising objections against the answer key will be closed.
The JEE Main final answer key will be released along with the results of the session 1 examination. Also, the JEE Main Session 2 registration process window has come to a close. NTA will conduct the JEE Main Session 2 examination from April 4 to 15, 2024.

The JEE Main Result 2024 is all set to be declared on Monday 12 February 2024 as per the official date provided by NTA. A link will be uploaded to the official website once the results are declared. NTA conducted the JEE Main 2024 exam (session 1) from January 24 to February 1. The test took place at various exam centers across the country. It was held in thirteen languages which include English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
During the exam, Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), Paper 2A (B.Arch.), and Paper 2B (B.Planning) had two sessions each. They were held from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. Paper 1 lasted for 3 hours while the B.Arch. and B.Planning exams were extended to 3 hours and 30 minutes. The B.Arch. and B.Planning tests ran from 9 am to 12:30 pm and from 3 pm to 6:30 pm.
As per the marking scheme, the examinees get 4 marks for every right answer, but 1 mark will be taken away for every wrong one. When the JEE Main 2024 results are announced, NTA will also reveal the ranks. They also provided the marks of all the candidates who appeared. People could use this information to estimate their percentile and rank by comparing it with data from previous years.
The JEE Main is a national-level qualifying test for admission to centrally-funded technical institutions such as NITs and IITs. Those in the top 20 percent of the merit list are eligible to appear for the JEE (Advanced), the entrance exam for esteemed Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
