The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to issue the UGC NET Result 2022 today 5 November 2022 at any time as informed by UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar. Once released, the candidates who appeared in the December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) can now check their scorecards using their login credentials.
The Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) is a national-level exam organized by NTA. Every year a great number of aspirants register themselves and appear in the written exam.
The examination was conducted in four phases for 81 subjects at various exam centers all across the country. The agency has already released the final provisional answer keys of the exam for each phase and will upload the official results on the web portal today.
UGC NET Result 2022
As per the latest news, NTA is ready to announce the UGC NET December 2021 & June 2022 Merged Cycle exam results today. The date was announced by the UGC chairman last night but the exact time is not yet confirmed. It will be most probably released in the evening.
This eligibility test was conducted for the Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship/ Assistant Professor in CBT Mode at various test centers all over the country. UGC-NET eligibility certificate for Assistant Professors will be valid for a lifetime and the UGC-NET JRF award letter will only be valid for four years beginning from the day of the issuance.
The agency organized this eligibility test in four phases, the first phase was conducted from July 9 to 12, the second phase from September 20 to 23, the third phase from September 29 to October 4, and the last phase from October 8 to 14.
Normally, the exam is held twice a year but due to the Covid situation in December 2021, it got delayed. Then the agency had to organize it later which also delayed June 2022 cycle. That’s why NTA completed the examination phase in merged cycles.
